[hang nadim] Anwar dicabar bersihkan nama dahulu......hang belemuih......????

PAS Youth slams DAP over refusal to wear official attire
KUCHING: PAS Youth has slammed Sarawak DAP for refusing to wear the official attire, which includes the songkok, for the opening of the State Legislative Assembly sitting on Tuesday.
Its vice chief Raja Ahmad Al-Hiss said the Sarawak DAP assemblymen's reasons for not wearing the uniform were unacceptable.
“They say that wearing the songkok is an Islamic practice. This is incorrect,” he said in a press statement.
“Although this happened in Sarawak, we regret that their actions have created a misperception about the support of the people, particularly the Malays, for Pakatan Rakyat.
“We urge the Pakatan supreme council to educate the assemblymen so that this situation will not recur,” he said.
In response, Sarawak DAP secretary Chong Chieng Jen, who is the Kota Sentosa assemblyman, said PAS Youth was entitled to its opinion.
He said the DAP's decision not to wear the official attire had nothing to do with religious issues.
“Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. As far as the issue of State Assembly attire is concerned, that is our stand,” he said.
Chong said the reason the 12 DAP assemblymen did not wear the attire was purely economical.
“Our economy is not doing well now. We on our part are trying to save the people's money by not spending on the official attire which costs a few thousand ringgit per set.
“It means that the government has to spend tens of thousands of ringgit to provide the official attire for the 12 of us,” he said.
The money, he added, could be better spent on more important matters.
Bersih being used by the opposition for their agenda, says Chua

KAMPAR: The organiser of the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (Bersih) rally is being used by the opposition parties to achieve its political agenda, said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
“Bersih started out as a non-governmental organisation to express concerns over irregularities in the electoral process.
“However, it is now being infiltrated and influenced by opposition leaders to gain political mileage.
“They are trying to stoke the emotions of the people and create feelings of hatred against the Government,” Dr Chua said after opening the Kampar MCA division annual general meeting here yesterday.
He said MCA was firm in its stand not to support such illegal rallies as they disrupted peace and harmony of the society, adding that the party also backed MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong's decision against participating in a rally planned by Umno Youth on the same date.
Earlier in his speech, Dr Chua urged party leaders and members to get closer to the people.
“I observed that during programmes organised by the MCA, only party members and supporters were present.
“We failed to attract non-members and the public,” he said.
Citing an example, Dr Chua said when he was campaigning in the Batu Sapi by-election, he approached a voter and asked him why he had supported the DAP.
The voter told him that the DAP showed more concern for the welfare of the people.
“This voter said the Barisan representative only visited their areas twice a year during festive season.
“On the other hand, the opposition representative often go to the ground,” he said, adding that such an action had caused the people to think that Barisan did not need them.
