PANDANGAN ISLAM TERHADAP BABI
Makan daging babi
Ijmak para ulama mengatakan haram makan daging babi melainkan dalam keadaan darurat. Ini berdasarkan firman Allah SWT :
إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل به لغير الله فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيم
“Allah hanyasanya mengharamkan kepadamu untuk memakan bangkai, darah, babi dan binatang yang disembelih untuk selain Allah. Sesiapa yang makan dalam kemudaratan tanpa melampau dan tanpa berlebih-lebihan maka dia tidak berdosa. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun dan Maha Penyayang. (173 : al-Baqarah)
Najisnya zat babi
Ulama Hanafi, Syafie dan Hambali telah bersepakat bahawa zat babi adalah najis. Demikian juga semua yang terpisah darinya seperti peluh, air liur dan maninya. Ini berdasarkan Firman Allah SWT :
قل لا أجد فيما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنزير فإنه رجس
“Katakanlah hai Muhammad, tidak ada aku dapati dalam wahyu yang diturunkan kepadaku perkara yang haram dimakan melainkan bangkai, darah yang mengalir atau daging babi ; sesungguhnya ia adalah najis.” (145 : al-Anam)
Ulama mazhab Maliki menyatakan bahawa zat babi yang hidup tidak najis.

Did some research and this is from the Bible, just read what was in the bible. Why is it that they still what the bible says. They defy God as almost all consume pork and and the wonderful thing they are proud of it. I did not say this.This clearly indicate most dont know what is in the bible. How come?

The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch,
they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,
it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their
dead carcass.” [Deuteronomy 14:8]
A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.
