Hamzah Abu Samah meninggal dunia

SEREMBAN 4 Sept. - Tokoh Sukan Negara yang juga bekas menteri Kabinet, Tan Sri Hamzah Abu Samah, 88, meninggal dunia akibat sakit tua pada pukul 3.30 petang ini.

Menurut isterinya, Toh Puan Zainon Hussain, suaminya menghembuskan nafas terakhir di rumahnya di Staffield Country Resort, Mantin dekat sini.

Allahyarham merupakan Presiden Majlis Olimpik Malaysia (MOM) Seumur Hidup dan memegang pelbagai jawatan penting dalam sukan sama ada dalam negara mahupun peringkat antarabangsa. - UTUSAN
