[hang nadim] Hari Malaysia, Hari Kemerdekaan disambut gemilang.....



Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin dan Tuanku Nur Zahirah berkenan menyaksikan Sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan yang ke-54 dan Hari Malaysia 2011 di Dataran Merdeka, semalam.

KUALA LUMPUR 16 Sept. - Buat julung-julung kalinya, sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan dan Hari Malaysia disambut serentak hari ini dan diraikan dengan penuh gilang-gemilang dan warna-warni di Dataran Merdeka sebagai lokasi utamanya.

Bertemakan "1Malaysia: Transformasi Berjaya, Rakyat Sejahtera", sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan ke-54 dan Hari Malaysia ke-48 pada tahun ini didominasi golongan belia yang merupakan peserta terbesar yang mengambil bahagian dalam persembahan kemerdekaan yang merangkumi empat segmen.

Kira-kira 10,000 peserta daripada pelbagai peringkat iaitu pelajar sekolah, guru, polis, tentera, kakitangan kerajaan dan swasta yang mengambil bahagian dalam acara sambutan itu mula berkumpul seawal 5 pagi.

Acara sambutan dalam keadaan cuaca cerah bermula sebaik sahaja keberangkatan tiba Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin dan Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tuanku Nur Zahirah pada 8 pagi.

Turut hadir Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah Tun Juhar Mahiruddin dan isteri, Toh Puan Norlidah RM Jasni, Yang Dipertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng dan isteri, Toh Puan Norkiah Abdullah, selain menteri-menteri Kabinet.

Tujuh helikopter Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) membuat lintas hormat dengan membawa Jalur Gemilang, bendera Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), Tentera Darat, TUDM, Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM), Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) dan Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (APMM).

Seri Paduka kemudian memeriksa kawalan kehormat utama yang terdiri daripada 103 anggota Batalion Pertama Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja.

Acara diteruskan dengan upacara menaikkan Jalur Gemilang diiringi nyanyian lagu Negaraku dan tembakan meriam 14 das sebelum bacaan ikrar Rukun Negara dilafazkan seramai 54 orang generasi muda pelbagai kaum termasuk golongan kelainan upaya, diketuai oleh pelajar Sekolah Agama Menengah Tinggi Sultan Hishamuddin, Klang, Muizzuddin Maarof, 18, yang diikuti dengan laungan "Merdeka" sebanyak tujuh kali dan "1Malaysia" sebanyak tiga kali.

Dataran Merdeka kemudiannya bertukar meriah apabila seramai 2,300 pelatih perguruan mempersembahkan nyanyian koir gubahan baru lagu Rukun Negara yang diterjemahkan melalui pergerakan formasi oleh 2,500 pelajar sekolah sekitar Selangor.

Persembahan padang dan jalan raya bertemakan "Kejayaan Transformasi 1Malaysia" turut berlangsung di Dataran Merdeka melibatkan 860 orang daripada kumpulan kesenian pelbagai jabatan, agensi dan pertubuhan bukan kerajaan (NGO).

Kontinjen Generasi 1Malaysia Cergas pula mendahului acara perarakan perbarisan yang terdiri daripada 100 orang belia dengan iringan lagu "Malaysia Satu", diketuai oleh Presiden Majlis Belia Malaysia, Mohamed Maliki Mohd. Rapiee.

Kontinjen seterusnya adalah Kontinjen Swasta yang menonjolkan kostum ala futuristik yang diketuai oleh Pengarah Urusan Khazanah Nasional, Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, diikuti Kontinjen Komunikasi yang diketuai oleh Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Komunikasi Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM), Tan Sri Khalid Ramli.

Kontinjen Peladang, Petani, Penjaja dan Perikanan 4P turut mengambil bahagian membabitkan 308 anggota manakala 66 peserta Kontinjen Pengangkutan Awam-Teksi tampil dengan menaiki 54 buah teksi.

Menambah keindahan warna-warni sambutan adalah perarakan 32 kereta berhias yang menterjemahkan kejayaan Pelan Transformasi Kerajaan dan Pelan Transformasi Ekonomi.

Sambutan kali ini juga membawa kelainan apabila buat pertama kalinya, hadirin dapat menyaksikan persembahan kawad dan tempur gabungan antara pasukan PDRM dan ATM, selain 10 unit pesawat pejuang TUDM turut menyerikan ruang udara Dataran Merdeka dengan formasi-formasi menarik.

Persembahan yang berlangsung kira-kira 1 jam 37 minit itu diakhiri dengan gabungan suara 5,541 peserta yang menyanyikan rangkaian lagu patriotik seperti Transformasi Berjaya Rakyat Sejahtera, Gemuruh, Jalur Gemilang, Tanggal 31 dan 1Malaysia Inspirasiku, dengan disertai barisan artis tempatan dan diiringi dengan pertunjukan luncur udara Jalur Gemilang.

Malaysians celebrate Malaysia Day in high spirits

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians across the country today celebrated the 54th National Day and the 48th anniversary of the formation of Malaysia in high spirits and joyful atmosphere.
Approximately 100,000 people flocked to Dataran Merdeka for the national
level celebration.
In IPOH, the Regent of Perak Raja Dr Nazrin Shah, together with Raja Di
Hilir Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul
Kadir joined over 15,000 people to celebrate the National Day and Malaysia Day.


The event was held at Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang, near the Ipoh City
Council. Sixty-two contingents from various government departments, private agencies and institutions of higher education took part in the parade.


Among the activities that captured the most attention were the "Gayung
Perang" show performed by the Royal Malaysian Police, "Unarmed Combat" show by
the Armed Forces, and the "Sewang" dance by the Orang Asli community from
Kampung Pos Raya, Simpang Pulai.
In BUTTERWORTH, over 5,000 people participated in the state-level
celebration which was held at Padang Pemuda Merdeka here.

Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and
state executive council members were also present to watch the parade and
performances staged by 100 contingents from public and private agencies, as well
as schools.

In MACHANG, the state-level celebration saw the participation of over 1,000
people from 75 contingents.

More than 2,000 people flocked the Machang District Council field for the
celebration, which was held for the first time outside Kota Baharu.

In MELAKA, the celebration was held in front of the Proclamation of
Independence Memorial at Bandar Hilir.

Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob took the salute at the marchpast
of the 117 contingents, involving 6,852 participants, representing various
federal and state government departments and agencies, non-governmental
organisations, institutions of higher learning and schools.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and the state executive
councillors also attended the celebration.

In KUANTAN, 30,000 people flocked to Kuantan Municipal Council field to join
in the celebration and watch the parade and performances mounted by 5,000
participants, comprising civil servants, private personnel and students.

As the younger generation dominated the celebrations, most of the activities
lined up were also revolved around their common interests like cycling,
roller-skating and 'shuffle' dance.

Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah graced the
celebrations. Present were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob and the state
executive councillors.

In KOTA KINABALU, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman led over 6,000 people
to celebrate the National Day and Malaysia Day anniversary at the City Square.

Another event, dubbed "Malam Merdeka" is scheduled to be held at the Merdeka
Square tonight where Yang Dipertua Negeri, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, is expected as
guest of honour.

In ALOR SETAR, the celebration was held joyfully with 80 contingents,
involving 3,000 participants taking part in the parade. Sultan Tuanku Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah and Sultanah Tuanku Hamimah Hamidun attended the celebrations.

In KANGAR, more than 3,000 participants from 75 contingents representing
government department and agencies, private sectors and non-governmental
organisations took part in the one-kilometre-long parade which began at the
Heritage Complex and ended at Taman Merdeka.

A pantomime about the rise of the Malaysian nation after the era of Japanese
occupation was also staged by teachers and students from various schools in
Perlis.

In SEREMBAN, Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku
Munawir and Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar
Mahmud attended the celebrations.

A total of 84 contingents comprising civil servants, private personnel,
non-governmental organisations and students took part in a parade which began at
Paroi Youth and Sports Complex and ended at Sekolah Menengah Vokasional
Ampangan.

The National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations will continue tonight at
Seremban Municipal Council where activities like fireworks displays and concert
by local artistes would be held. -- Bernama
